Google For 21st Century Administrators

Every week that goes by in this course, Using Google Docs as a 21st Century Administrator, I learn more and more that I can use.  The introduction to Google Docs last week was terrific, and I can already see many future uses of that feature.

I have read many blogs, and I know people who have started their own blogs, but I have never ventured into this uncharted territory....until today.  I'm amazed at how easy it is!  All educators could find a use for blogging.  As an administrator, one could definitely utilize blogging to increase communication with all stakeholders - students, parents, faculty, and the community.  It would allow an individual to publish weekly comments and updates for ongoing projects, upcoming plans, and school news.  Teachers could use blogging in addition to their weekly newsletters.  I could go on and on, but its uses are unlimited!

I can definitely say its nice to finally participate in professional development that is current, useful, informative, and fun!

  1. Yea! Your blog looks great and can be such an easy tool to communicate with others, whether it be your faculty/staff or parents.
